Memories & More

Morning Friends!

Its probably a little on the late side to share this. A friend sent me this christmas card that she hand made. It is a Stampin' Up! Memories and More product.

Memories & more are actually designed for scrapbooking and the various sized cards fit into our Photo Pocket Pages along with your photos. The thing is just because something is designed for one thing does not mean it can't be used for something else. I actually have a memories and more pack here that I had been planning on making during a Make With Me! video for you. I shall have to get onto it now so you can see what I am talking about. Pop over to the Shop Site and have a look at the items you will see what I mean.

The Memories and More and Kits are a great fun way of doing a little craft without the mess. They are fantastic if you travel as they are small and many come with every you need included. They would pack in a caravan or luggage.

My friend bought a couple of Memories and more packs and put them away for while she was in the process of moving interstate and the house was all packed up (including her crafting room) and she was left in the in between houses.

The value of kits is great too. They usually have plans for making 12 cards but in truth, there is leftovers and like the leftovers in any good lamb roast where the leftovers are better the next day, those leftovers make many more cards.

#GDP374 From Our Home to Your's Handmade Christmas Card

Hello

Hello and Welcome to my blog if you have not been here before. I am Caroline, and today I am sharing a card made for the Global Design Project sketch challenge #GDP374.

The challenge was to produce my interpretation of the following sketch.

I used the Rings of Love  Designer Series Paper to make a Christmas Card. I have a love of little houses that are cute so I have found this sheet of DSP especially difficult to cut into. Anyway, I did it! And there is plenty left for some more beautiful cards. Yay!

This card has made use of the Kylie Bertucci #LoveItChopIt technique.  It also has some detail trimming the little houses and plants. I found it quite good to be sitting quietly and just focusing on the trimming around these wee houses and plants when we often are so busy rushing around at this time of year.

The colour I focused on from the sheet of DSP is Mint Macaron from the Subtles Range.

You will see I have also made use of the Labels Aglow round die and Brightest Glow Stamp Set from the June - December 2022 Mini Catalogue.

To play along with the Global Design Project Challenge head on over to their blog.

You can order any of the products used to make this card by clicking on them below. Have a look around my blog while you are here. If you like what you see and are inspired you can follow me on Pinterest, Facebook or here on my blog.

Thanks for stopping by! That's it for now. Have a great week and make some time for crafting.

Caroling Mice Christmas Card

Hi Friends!

It is not long now until December 24. Christmas! I have just a handful more Christmas cards to show you this week.

I have my copy of the January to April 2023 Mini Catalogue and the Sale-a-bration Catalogue which I have been pouring over for a few weeks now. If you would like a copy you can either download it or purchase on January 5th HERE. You will be able to place orders from it also from January 5th.

I put in an order earlier this week and of course now I can't wait for that knock on the door so I can unbox it and show you all my goodies. I earned plenty of freebies from the Sale-a-bration which you also can do. A purchase of $90 will start you off with your first SAB item.

You and I are going to have so much fun in 2023 using so many Stampin' Up! products. Make sure you follow along here or on my Facebook page. Would you like to learn how to use your Stampin' Blends? or learn tricks for cutting around your images more neatly? Let me know what you might like to learn?

Inside the card I stamped sentiments from the Caroling Mice Host Stamp Set and the Brightest Glow Stamp Set.

I have had so much fun playing with these cute little mice.

You will be able to see the the products I used to make this card below. If you ever want to earn a HOST ITEM from Stampin' Up! a minimum purchase of $250 is all it will take.
