QUOTE OF THE WEEK

I need a good laugh, often. How about you?

Its great for your stomach muscles. I know this because they hurt after I have been laughing for a while. I also find it can help change the mood for me.

So how do I make myself laugh. Well one of the ways I find that works for me is to go on to Pinterest and I search for Funny Meme's or quotes. I also have a friend who likes to text me 'funnies' or funny memes. And I send them back to her. Its great and fun, especially if you can find someone with a similar sense of humor.

We all have times in our lives when we are going through a rough spot, that is very normal. Having a friend to text with can help lighten the load. We don't even chat much via text. We don't send funny Memes every day even. She does not live in the same town as me so we do not see each other much, but boy those little texts that make me or her laugh, say so much and they brighten my week or day..

Initiate a laugh for someone, and it might even give you a smile too.

Free Creativity Stampin' Up!® Download plus Painted Poppies Sympathy Cards

Morning Friends!

Happy Tuesday to you my Friend!

How has your week been? Did you find any time for some crafting? What did you make? Show me a photo in the comments below.

I have a bunch of cards to show you that I made this week.

I had a really great session with the Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set, Painted Poppies Stamp Set and Painted Labels Die set.

I will show you the other 2 cards I made in this session next week. (UPDATE: Click HERE to see the other cards) If you like reminders, you could follow me on instagram or facebook.

For this first card, a mini card, I used a Versamark Ink Pad, Heat & Stick Powder and Gilded Leafing on Whisper White Thick Cardstock. I stamped a sentiment in Basic Gray.

This second card I have used Misty Moonlight for the base card, Night of Navy & Gray Granite DSP from the Neutrals 3x3 DSP. I have used Whisper White Basic Cardstock for the top layers (including the die cut label). I stamped & embossed onto the tall thin piece with white and then blended over this with Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight & Night of Navy, Pear Pizzaz, Old Olive & Mossy Meadow. I love the NEW Blending Brushes. They are so soft and work incredibly well. I love, love, love them. They come in a 3 pack and are worth every cent paid for them.

I finished it with a sentiment stamped in Basic Gray and a sweet bow from Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. I really love how this card turned out.

I have this quote on my cozy craft corner wall to remind myself. I fight my body every day to get out of bed. We all have things we need to battle. This quote I find a source of encouragement, especially this past couple of weeks when I have had long and multiple days out of the house in the cold and then been sick. Sometimes we need to choose rest and others we need to do battle.
