Dandy Garden Suite - Playing with dragonflies.

Morning Friends!

I do hope you had a great weekend (and found time to do some stamping). I have my new 2021-22 Annual Stampin' Up!® Catalogue now and I have a long wish list. Oh dear, Stampin' Up! do produce some beautiful stamp images and Designer Series Papers. If you would like a copy of the catalogue, message me and I can organise that for you.

Do you like dragonflies?  ...Yes?

Then I have got a treat for you today. During one of our Events for Demonstrators, we had a card making session and we made 3 different cards with the Dandy Garden Suite.

For this first card, we also used Misty Moonlight and Bumblebee card from the 2020-22 In Colour cardstock. We used the dragonfly punch to punch out a dragonfly from one of the sheets of DSP. They are the exact same shape and size. Isn't that well thought out in Stampin' Up!s® planning.

I stamped the dragonfly wings shadows onto the Bumblebee card with Bumblebee stampin' ink prior to adhering the punched out dragonfly with some Stampin' Dimensionals. Dimensionals are something I make sure I never run out of as I use them so much.

As you can see we also made a stamped insert for the card and stamped up the envelope to co-ordinate. This stamping was done with Bumblebee stampin' ink.

For the second card we used the Flowers in the stamp set and punched out 3 of the small dragonflies using the dragonfly punch. We made the card base using Blackberry Bliss Cardstock and the base layer with Gray Granite.

Again I have stamped up a co-ordinating card insert and envelope. All the stamping on this card was with Mossy Meadow Stampin' Ink.

I am sure you are the same, but I really do like to make cards and have them all co-ordinated and finished like this. They look so lovely. They really show you have gone to extra effort for the person you are sending it to. You would not do it if you did not care for them.

Let's be honest, a hand made card is so much more beautiful and loving than a shop bought, mass produced card. There is time, energy, care, thought, and a lot of love put into the design and creating of a hand made card. They not only bring pleasure to the maker but the recipient also.

For our final card we used Mossy Meadow cardstock for the card base. I used Bumblebee and Whisper White cardstock for the layers along with some DSP strips. This time we finished the front of the card with 3 tiny ladybugs and a hand stamped and punched out dragonfly in Bumblebee Stampin' Ink.

The swarm of dragonflies on the base card and sentiments on the Whisper White card are stamped in Misty Moonlight.

I used the dragonfly imaged stamp with Bumblebee stampin' ink to decorate this insert. chose one of the sentiments to stamp with Misty Moonlight stampin' ink and for the envelope I chose to use the dragonfly swarm.

Here are the product items which you can click on and they will take you to the stampin' Up! shop where you can have a close look at each item and also purchase them so that you can make these cards or something that is your own design.  If you do make something with this bundle, attach a picture in the comments below so I can see your creations. I do love to see them.
