Butterfly Memories

Morning Friends!

How are you this fine sunny day? Well in spirit and body, I hope.

Butterflies are always a bit of a spirit lifter so I thought I would have a look back today at some of the butterfly cards and items I have made over the years. To read the original blogs, click on the images.

If you want to buy a butterfly Stamp or Die set or even our adorable Brushed Brass Butterflies accessories to give your projects that finishing touch, hop over to my Stampin' Up! Shop site and search Butterflies.

The  lead photo of a bunch of items were made from some DSP and also a stamp set and punch. There are a couple of cards on the left and the back right is a Gift Voucher Envelope. The front wee item is a sweet little tea bag holder. It is folded to be able to insert a tea bag at the back and the front, and would fit nicely inside an envelope to post to a friend. Great when you are like me and many of my friends are not living near me or even in the same state or country and you miss having a cuppa with your friends.

Do you remember this? I still have it hanging in my front entrance hall. I still love it! It is a window box framed decor piece. That lacey Special DSP was so adorable. It looks like it is a quite technical piece. I think I have used some foil and clear embossed some stamped images, there is punched pieces and die cut pieces. I have made the bible verse on the computer and printed it.

These two cards were from a challenge that a friend threw out to me when I posted a photograph of one of our salt lakes in South Australia. It's an incredible location and one certainly to pop on your list to visit if you are doing your Grey Nomad around Australia trip. Sadly with salt lakes the colours are only like this (I think) at certain times of the year. Travel aside, These cards came out trumps, don't you think.

Wow, did I have fun this day. I chose to do a really simple card pattern and Make heaps of the same patterened card. They all look different because they have different papers from 2 different DSP sets. Some I have added bows, some ribbon ties. And Here is one of the cards.

Using a very simple card pattern is a great way to make bulk cards in a short time. Obviously, You could switch out the dragon fly for a butterfly.

Here is another card I made using the Dragonfly Stamp set. It is not this card but I did take part in a Mega Tutorial Bundle with some friends. It has 62 different projects, with instructions for each using the same Bundle. If you wanted to get the Mega Tutorial Bundle, its Here and you can even buy it with paypal.
